Glazing Graphics & Privacy Films

Maximize Your Branding and make Glass Visible Branding

Pentagon’s films can be utilised to create standard and individual designs including corporate branding. The wide range of colours, shades and finishes present a pallet of choices.  Let your imagination run wild!

Effective marking is straightforward by utilising simple geometric shapes, complex company logos or even frosted effects to give partial or complete privacy.

Marking can enhance and improve interior and exterior glass.

Making glass visible to meet regulations

Standard glazing provides limited protection against the dangers of breakage and people walking through or into them.  All uninterrupted glazing in critical locations must be clearly marked and therefore instantly recognisable as a barrier.

Pentagon glazing graphics and privacy films can make glass visible and ensure compliance with health and safety and building regulations.

Shatterproof your glass

Product combinations are also available to not only provide attractive displays and designs, but also to protect against the dangers of breaking glass.

Tests have shown that even under impact with a 100lb projectile our selected anti-shatter FT800 window film can hold broken glass in place, strengthening glass windows and doors making them safe and secure.

Pentagon Graphics and Films can offer:

  • Great glass designs – bespoke or standard
  • Corporate branding – immediate and cost effective
  • Personal protection – safer against many risks
  • Security – protect against attack and blast
  • Privacy – guard against prying eyes
  • Anti glare – reduce eye strain
  • Heat reduction – more comfortable - less stress
  • Lower energy costs – reduced cooling bills
  • Meet regulations – simply and effectively

The Regulations

Regulation 14 of the Workplace (Health, Safety and Welfare) Act exists to protect anyone working or spending time near glass from injury by broken glass, whether accidental, impact, vandalism or even terrorist attack.

Building Regulations Part M states that uninterrupted glazing in critical areas must be clearly marked and therefore instantly recognisable as a barrier.

What Glazing is Affected?

“Critical location” is the term given to describe internal and external walls, doors and partitioning which are of primary concern in terms of glazing safety.  Between the finished floor level and 1500mm (shoulder height), above that level in doors, and in side panels which fall within 300mm of either edge of the door.
